About the Job
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Innovation Programmes, the position works with the various Programme Managers (PMs) in meeting the centre's objectives to advance the development, prototyping, proliferation, and adoption of proven innovative learning solutions.
The appointee will play a key role in fostering a vibrant ecosystem that encourages collaboration, continuous innovation, and engagement across the TAE sector.
The appointee will also drive content and ecosystem development to promote innovation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the centre's programmes.
In addition, the appointee will contribute to reviewing programme design and grant proposals, strategising enterprise adoptions, and participating in cross-team collaboration.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to leverage market insights and stakeholder relationships to drive adoption and ecosystem growth.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the Innovation Programmes team to strategise, develop and implement plans to proliferate adoption of proven learning innovations.
Drive ecosystem development through platforms such as the Innovation microsite, Innovation Showcases (e.g., Tech Showcase, SSG Festival), and Innovation Day, connecting solutionists with enterprise users, facilitating collaboration and innovation.
Develop and implement initiatives and resources to support enterprises to successfully adopt and integrate learning solutions.
Lead community‐building and engagement efforts to attract high‐quality grant applicants and foster interest in innovation programmes.
Develop and curate engaging content for the microsite and other media platforms, collaborating with subject matter experts to profile innovations and CWLI initiatives.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of new and existing programmes to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Evaluate programmes and initiatives to improve intervention design and outcomes.
Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business needs and industry developments.
Job Requirements
A master's or bachelor's degree, preferably in the Social Sciences, innovation and/or business management, education technology, or learning sciences.
Minimally 5-8 years of working experience in education and adult learning and training sectors; or a related role in Business Development / Corporate Development / Strategic Planning with good experience in market research, project and contract management.
Any combination of these areas is a strong plus.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, possessing strong communication skills (written and verbal) to engage and influence stakeholders of all levels of seniority.
Possess prior experience in the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector is highly preferred.
Possess experience in facilitating and enabling commercialisation of products and services.
Display strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to prepare effective presentation materials for senior management on deals.
Demonstrate strong systems thinking and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to connect the dots to develop a deeper appreciation of current and emerging key issues and exercising good judgement to provide sound recommendations.
Possess an ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Demonstrate an ability in meeting deadlines and delivering on KPIs.
The successful appointee will be based in IAL Campus located at Lifelong Learning Institute next to Paya Lebar MRT station.
