Job description

The Role


This position will lead and manage the Advertising and Promotions (Rev) team to maximize revenue from the sales of atrium spaces, advertising spaces and other licenses within the mall in order to fulfill annual targets for the different properties.

The incumbent will also manage vendors and partners as well as marketing agents and will participate in the formulation and execution of selected campaigns and loyalty programmes for the mall.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering on revenue targets through solid strategic planning and execution, good management of team resources and establishing partnerships with key advertisers, brands and event organisers.


  • Possess good networking skills to build important work relationships and resourcefulness to develop a list of potential exhibitors/vendors/tenant for each location that is in line with guidelines and compliments the property's image and branding.

    Experience in working with exhibitors and government agencies in coordinating large-scale events within the mall to achieve revenue and footfall targets is a plus.

  • Plan and manage booking schedules for a full range of assets and exhibitors to ensure maximum occupancy and revenue, minimising downtime.

  • Keep precise records of atrium bookings, revenue reports and license agreements, track and analyze monthly sales, formulate strategies to close any gaps.

  • Responsible for annual revenue budgets and regular sales forecast, reporting and presentations.

  • Track, monitor and keep precise records of team's correspondence with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors and to ensure 100% compliance to SOPs and corporate guidelines.

  • Motivate, lead and manage the Events & Sponsorship Team ensuring each team member delivers on target and monitor proper administration of paperwork and SOP at all times.

  • Professionally represent the mall at all times, able to develop and train team to step up to the next level.

  • Able to take on ad-hoc campaign planning and execute 360 campaigns when required.

  • Experienced in developing and maintaining customer loyalty programmes and bringing on programme partners to develop win-win strategies that increase footfall and spend.

  • Job Requirements

  • You should possess a degree in Events Management, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent, with minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.

  • You should have the ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision, able to recognise customers’ needs and resolve issues independently, establish master goals, identify and develop accounts.

  • You should possess the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations; Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, proposals and grant submissions; and to effectively present information both electronically and in person and respond to questions from clients, customers and the general public.

  • Comfortable working with complex numbers and worksheets, able to calculate discounts, interest, commissions and ROI; Ability to apply mathematical concepts to understand financial statements, budgets and cash flow.

  • You should have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form to effectively plan sales strategy.

    To negotiate on behalf of both the client and the mall to achieve maximum benefit for both parties.

  • This position is suited to a self-motivated individual who can confidently work with a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds; Diplomacy, tact and a sense of humour are important to the success of this person;

  • Strong Managerial skills are vital.

  • Excellent knowledge of a variety of sales and presentation software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are a must.

  • The successful candidate will have a willingness to master new software and systems system.
