Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Perform secretariat duties for the funding initiative(s), including running of grant calls, convening of evaluation panels and engagement of various stakeholders.Execute policies and processes pertaining to the administration of the funding initiative(s).Communicate the funding initiative(s)'s policies and processes to public sector research performers.Liaise with grantees on pre- and post-award matters.Regularly review progress of awarded grants to ensure that KPIs, milestones and budget utilisation are on track.Build excellence in grants management through the development, refinement and implementation of best practices, within A*STAR and through working with other funding agencies.Support ecosystem-building activities for the funding initiative(s).Requirements
Possesses a tertiary degreeAt least 2 years of working experience in planning, governance and/or grant management rolesKeen interest in work related to governance and grant management, especially in the research & development sectorStrong problem solving, analytical and systems thinking abilitiesResourceful and independentAble to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
