Job Title: Property Manager (Facilities) — with focus on operations, maintenance, sustainability, and real estate coordination for SATS premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operations and maintenance of SATS premises to ensure a comfortable, safe and secure office and work environment, cost effectively to support the business and sustainability goals.
- Monitor custodians and contractors to ensure corrective and preventive maintenance is carried out, maximizing asset life and minimizing disruption.
- Partner with business units on real estate requirements, including planning for new developments and space planning to optimize rental costs.
- Liaise with authorities and vendors to ensure compliance with building regulations.
- Act as the company’s energy manager to prepare energy use reports and an energy efficiency improvement plan.
- Lead department budgeting (Capex and Opex) planning.
- Manage major and minor infrastructure capex projects with the Building Services team and develop business cases.
- Ensure procurement/tender processes are carried out according to guidelines.
- Manage and implement sustainability initiatives from large to minor scale projects.
- Lead Ethics and Compliance for the department.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Facility Management, Building / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Qualified Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) and/or Water Efficiency Manager is an added advantage.
- More than 10 years of experience in facility/building/operation management or M&E works in industrial buildings (preferred).
- Ability to manage Building Custodian (Managing Agent) and ensure performance metrics are met.
- Independent with integrity, innovative and a self-starter.
- Excellent in interpreting, writing and executing contract specifications.
- Experience in drafting tender specifications, projects and business cases.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Experience presenting to and managing senior stakeholders.
