Education governance and policies
Support the Associate Director in developing, implementing, and supporting UG academic policies.
- Draft policy proposals and ensure alignment with university-wide frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
- Conduct policy benchmarking and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Curriculum, pedagogy and academic resources
Manage and facilitate UG curriculum and programme review exercises, ensuring milestones are tracked and delivered.
- Support the development of new UG programmes, as assigned.
- Synthesise data and stakeholder feedback into recommendations for programme enhancements and innovations.
Data Analytics and Insights
Lead data analysis and support the design of monitoring and reporting mechanisms (e.g., dashboards) to strengthen evidence-based policy and strategy, and outcomes measurements.
- Contribute to the development of enhanced reporting mechanisms, such as visual dashboards or monitoring tools, over time to strengthen evidence-based decision making.
- Translate analysis into clear narratives, policy papers, and executive-level reports.
Committee Secretariat, Management Reporting and Communications
Co-secretariat of the University Education Committee (UEC), assisting the Chairperson to ensure effective and efficient resolutions to the agenda.
- Covering secretariat of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (UCC), assisting the Chairperson to ensure effective and efficient resolutions to the agenda.
- Co-secretariat of the Provost's Council.
- Secretariat of other university-level / cross-department taskforces as assigned.
- Coordinate and collate university-wide data and statistics and prepare regular reports for MOE, Board of Trustees and other internal and external stakeholders as required.
Education Strategy
Track progress of UG-related strategic initiatives, monitoring outcomes and ensuring milestones are on track.
- Lead and contribute to the delivery of specific educational strategic initiatives, as assigned by the Director, Education Strategy.
- Collaborate across units to integrate UG education initiatives with wider university strategy.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience required.
- Strong team player who is collaborative, collegial, and able to work effectively across academic and administrative units.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with ability to generate evidence-based insights using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and statistical software.
- Independent, resourceful, and proactive in driving workstreams.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet short deadlines and execute against competing or changing priorities as well as concurrent projects.
- Prior experience in the higher education sector and an understanding of Singapore's higher education landscape preferred.
- Experience contributing to education innovations, policies, strategic initiatives, or change management projects will be an advantage.
Note: Appointment may be made at Manager or Senior Manager level, depending on the candidate's experience and demonstrated competencies.
