This is an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Project Management Team at the Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI).
As a key innovation hub, SIFBI leverages core capabilities in synthetic biology, food and sensory science, and digestive health to position Singapore as a global leader in the food, nutrition, and consumer care industries.
Our mission is to support national priorities in food resilience and healthy longevity by creating new value for the FMCG and ingredient solutions sectors.
The Corporate Strategy/Business Development Manager will:
Develop strategic roadmaps and commercialization plans by analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and national priorities.
Manage the grant strategy and pipeline by strengthening research proposals and securing funding for key initiatives.
Oversee end-to-end project execution, including scope definition, budget management, and risk mitigation to ensure successful project delivery.
Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to promote partnerships and represent SIFBIs interests at key industry events.

Job Requirement Degree in Physical/Chemical/Food Sciences, Nutrition, Biosciences or a related field; MBA, or Masters/PhD is plus, and experience in Food & Nutrition and/or biotechnology field is useful
Good track record or prior experience in grant applications, stakeholder management, and implementation of strategies
Keen interest in research with the ability to quickly understand new technologies and their potential for business application
Effective and thoughtful communicator with strong organisational and administrative skills
Resourceful, adaptable, flexible in taking on tasks beyond the job description
Proactive problem-solver and self-starter who works well both independently and in a team
