Manager/Senior Manager, Vertical Planning & Operations, Global Entertainment & Events
The Manager/Senior Manager, Vertical Planning and Operation for Global Entertainment & Events leads the end-to-end planning, delivery, and optimization of entertainment events across multiple regions and international markets, ensuring consistency and excellence while adapting to local requirements.
This position drives both strategic and operational initiatives for entertainment verticals, collaborates with regional & local teams, and manages cross-border vendor and stakeholder relationships to deliver innovative, world-class event experiences.
What You'll Do
Strategic Vision : Develop and shape the business model and strategic roadmaps for the vertical, overseeing the entire spectrum from supply to demand, business strategy, and technology innovation.
Program Leadership : Take charge of strategic initiatives, lead cross-functional teams—including marketing, sales, technical, and on-site teams—to ensure alignment and consistent delivery of user experience on a global scale.
Operational Excellence : Oversee and harmonize event operations across markets, ensuring global industry standards while respecting local cultures and regulations; frequent international travel required.
Regional Account Management : Build and manage relationships with organizers, vendors, agencies, and clients across diverse regions; negotiate contracts and manage operational partnerships to deliver seamless experiences.
Product & Technology Enhancement : Collaborate closely with our product and technology teams to enhance the visibility, usability, and conversion rates of booking processes across Klook's mobile app, website, and other distribution channels.
Data-Driven Insights : Establish comprehensive metrics and implement advanced mechanisms for monitoring and analyzing commercial and operational performance, allowing data-driven decision-making to thrive.
What You'll Need
A minimum of 6 years of working experience in OTA, e-commerce, tech startups; previous experience in global/regional/local entertainment event planning, operations, or venue management would be a plus.
Proven track record of successfully driving cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential; fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese is a valuable asset.
Strong willingness to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a startup mentality and entrepreneurial spirit.
Comfortable working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and across different time zones, demonstrating a global perspective.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels and adapt to diverse situations.
