Marine Service Engineer (MNC/Vessel/Marine Control Systems)



Job description

Responsibilities
Carry out onboard inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and system modifications.


Plan, coordinate, and execute field service schedules and activities.


Diagnose and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.


Supervise repair works and implement technical upgrades as required.


Install new systems and technologies onboard vessels.


Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is performed to keep equipment in optimal condition.


Lead and guide technicians and engineers during service operations.


Gather and communicate customer feedback for continuous improvement.


Requirements
Diploma or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.


At least 4 years of hands-on experience in vessel main engine automation systems or equivalent marine control systems.


Proven troubleshooting ability with a detail-oriented and safety-conscious approach.


Up-to-date awareness of industry technologies and practices.


Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.


Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and electrical systems.
