Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Brand Positioning
- Define and implement the regional marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment with FENDI’s global brand vision and local market dynamics.
- Partner with key stakeholders in Retail, Merchandising, eCommerce, and CRM to ensure integrated planning and message coherence.
- Lead annual planning across PR, media, digital, and experiential marketing, including budget ownership and ROI optimization.
- Media & Digital Strategy
- Architect and execute a forward-thinking media strategy (paid, earned, owned), driving brand visibility and campaign amplification across all touchpoints.
- Drive growth in digital presence through strategic content deployment, influencer collaborations, and social media community building.
- Partner with HQ to localize global media assets and digital campaigns with high relevance to SEAA audiences.
- Identify new media trends and innovation opportunities to future-proof brand engagement.
- Public Relations & Editorial
- Cultivate and maintain high-impact relationships with fashion/luxury media, editors, key opinion leaders, and stylists to secure consistent and elevated editorial coverage.
- Oversee press release development, seasonal PR showroom operations, and sample management for maximum editorial reach.
- Monitor industry and competitor PR activities to ensure FENDI’s positioning remains differentiated and leading.
- Celebrity & Influencer Engagement
- Build and nurture relationships with top-tier celebrities, digital influencers, and stylists in the region.
- Strategically manage product placement opportunities across red carpets, series, press conferences, and key cultural moments.
- Partner with global communications on ambassador alignments and special projects.
- Events & Experiential Marketing
- Lead planning and execution of brand events and experiences aligned with business and brand priorities.
- Leverage events to deepen client engagement, strengthen media and influencer relations, and elevate brand storytelling.
- Team & Budget Management
- Lead and inspire regional and local team of marketing and communications professionals, fostering collaboration, excellence, and innovation.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and effective budget management in line with strategic priorities.
- Act as key regional liaison with FENDI’s APAC and HQ, providing feedback, insights, and best practices to shape global strategies.
Profile & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in luxury fashion or beauty, with deep expertise in PR, media, and digital marketing in Southeast Asia and/or Australia.
- Proven strategic leadership in brand marketing and communications across diverse markets.
- Extensive network and track record in media, KOLs/influencers, and celebrity management within the luxury sector.
- Expertise in digital and social media strategy, performance metrics, and customer journey optimization.
- Strong editorial sensibility with understanding of luxury storytelling and content creation.
- Commercially minded with experience in driving business objectives through communication strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly agile, hands‑on, and culturally attuned to the nuances of SEAA markets.
- Fluent in English; additional Asian language proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.
