We are looking for you,
Master Trainer (Panel/Field)
to our Competency Development team in Tuas, Singapore.


You will focus on quality assurance of the delivered skills training (panel and field) in the four shifts, develop field training content in the learning path, lead simulator development work and ensuring that solutions are developed to model challenges that reflect the operating environment.

In this job you will work closely with the operations shift teams and other stakeholders to coach, train, assess and continuously drive the professional skills development of the field and/or panel certification programme

Your role in our team
Overall responsibility over the skill development path of field certification program and processes: quality assurance between the 4 shifts, relevance of tasks in the learning path
Overall responsibility over the Basic Operating Method (BOM) training system development scope, maintain and budget
Responsible for training and assessment of field trainers in shifts
Create and develop instructions, guidelines and procedures
Coach, train, instruct and assess, record the trainees performance
Organizing, coordinating and developing the use of simulators in cooperation with the line operating personnel.


Define, create and continuously develop operator training simulator scenarios, templates and minimum requirements for all training scenarios
Accountable for training content updating, process development and maintain (scenarios, e learning content etc)
Responsible for developing the trainer competencies of the shift field trainers ( trainer in the train the trainer program)
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role
Diploma in any Engineering discipline from a recognised polytechnic with at least 10 years of professional experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical industry.

Experience in field and /or panel operations in a chemical plant is necessary.
