Objective
- Lead the development including all Asset Enhancement and capital replacement works relating to M&E Services including execution of strategic sustainability initiatives.
Duties and responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Lead drive awareness campaigns for green initiatives, environmental and water management programmes;
- Develop and manage Reduce, Reuse and Recycle strategies and program with tenant's participation that are aligned with the corporate policy targets;
- Maintain the efficient operations of all plants, equipment and systems within the building to ensure the operations are in safe and efficient manner;
- Formulate and implement sustainability management plan in line with BCA's Green Mark and LEEDS certification requirements;
- Work closely with consultants to ensure compliance for Green Mark verifications and re-certification;
- Lead the interface with government agencies, Owner, Tenants, Building Occupants and visitors on sustainability matters;
- Organize regular meetings for Green Committees to share data and best practises, implement new initiatives and organise green activities;
- Analysis of utilities consumption (Electricity, Water & Chilled Water) and take appropriate actions to minimise wastage and maximise efficiency;
- Procurement of Electricity from Energy Market;
- Responsible for the overall maintenance and operations of the ACMV systems and IBMS in the building including other M&E systems, taking charge of the appointed Technical Services vendor;
- Monitor, tune and optimise the operations of the M&E systems without compromising safety and comfort, and ensure that they are operating as per design intent, if not better;
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance plan for the M&E system;
- Plan and execute all procurement activities for the maintenance services of the M&E system;
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities to ensure contractors / vendors and technicians complete all repair and maintenance work within the required timelines and standards;
- Execute ad-hoc project works to enhance the performance of M&E system including putting up Expense Approval and Proposal Paper for approval;
- Prepare annual budget and monitor expenditures are within the approved budget;
- Liaise with and ensure professional management of tenants, business partners, government agencies, vendors/suppliers;
- Prepare and Submit Monthly Report.
- Carry out necessary work as assigned by the SCM, as and when needed.

- Able to lead and work with team to maximize energy savings while optimizing the building system.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with at least 8 years of experience;
- Knowledge of operations, maintenance and related local ordinances for Green Building Operation;
- Good interpersonal skills with team player qualities to manage both internal and external stakeholders;
- Proven organization, problem solving and communication (verbal and written) skills;
- Professional certification in sustainability, ACMV and/or energy management;
- Green Mark Facilities Manager (GMFM) / SCEM trained preferably
- Experience in Green Mark & LEEDS certification.
