We are representing our client, a well-established international mechanical and engineering consulting company that specializes in providing building services engineering across multiple sectors, including Industrial, Healthcare, Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, and Retail.
We are seeking suitable candidates for the role of Mechanical and Electrical Executive Engineer/Project Engineer.
MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL EXECUTIVE ENGINEER/PROJECT ENGINEER
Responsibility
Design and manage mechanical and electrical engineering systems (e.g., MVAC, Electrical, Lifts, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Sanitary) for projects across sectors such as residential, office, commercial, healthcare, and institutional.
Perform design work for greenfield projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and technical requirements.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant drawings, project specifications, and regulatory standards.
Oversee site operations, including supervising M&E personnel, tracking progress, verifying drawings and materials, and managing method statement submissions and approvals to ensure quality and timely completion.
Maintain accurate records of M&E activities, including tests, defect rectifications, inspections, work progress, materials, equipment, and safety compliance.
Monitor the installation of M&E systems, coordinating with contractors on-site, and addressing technical issues promptly.
Conduct system testing and inspections with consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the project manager detailing project progress, delays, defects, and any necessary rectification measures.
Attend consultant meetings and manage the relevant M&E aspects of construction activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
At least 8 years of experience in M&E design and implementation.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on Civil Engineering projects.
Proven experience in the construction industry is essential.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated initiative, self-drive, and the ability to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
