About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for diploma graduates or ITE/NITEC holders (with up to 5 years of experience) to begin their career in one of Singapore's largest and most important waste-to-energy projects.
You will gain valuable exposure supporting both the
Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF)
and the
Tuas South Incineration Plant (TSIP)
— facilities that are central to Singapore's long-term sustainability and energy recovery efforts.

Working Hours
:
- Initial Phase
: Standard office hours (Mon–Thu 8:30 am–6:00 pm, Fri 8:30 am–5:30 pm) - Operational Phase
: May move into 12-hour rotating shifts (including weekends & public holidays), with 5 rest days per 15-day cycle
Key Responsibilities
Construction / Project Development Phase (IWMF)
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Support engineers in monitoring contractors and vendors to ensure project quality and safety.
- Help prepare and review technical documents.
- Participate in equipment checks and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
Operations & Maintenance Phase (TSIP)
- Support plant operations and routine maintenance of equipment such as turbines, motors, and control systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks under guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Participate in rotating shifts as part of plant operations team.
Role Requirements
- Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering disciplines.
- Fresh graduates or up to 5 years of relevant working experience are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with engineering software (e.g., Navisworks, Primavera) is an advantage.
- Willing to work in waste-to-energy facilities and perform rotating shift duties.
- Good team player, responsible, and safety-conscious.
