Job description

About the Roles

We are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer for construction projects with a main contractor.

The position is site-based in the central area and follows a 5.5-day workweek, Monday to Friday from 8:30AM to 5:30PM and Saturday mornings.

This is a permanent role offering a basic salary with handphone allowance, AWS, and variable bonus.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and oversee all M&E works across project sites.

  • Supervise on-site M&E activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and codes of practice.

  • Track progress, monitor budgets, and ensure completion according to timelines and quality expectations.

  • Handle on-site engineering and technical issues, including quality inspections.

  • Review project drawings and specifications to confirm alignment with requirements and guidelines.

  • Provide clarification on technical matters and respond to specification-related queries.

  • Prepare structural penetration shop drawings for submission and approval.

  • Develop and update M&E coordination drawings and collaborate with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers to secure approvals.

  • Maintain accurate records of M&E documentation and drawings.

  • Attend site and technical meetings with consultants.

  • Manage M&E systems such as ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary, and related works.

  • Carry out other assigned duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum three years of experience in M&E supervision and coordination.

  • Strong knowledge of ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sanitary systems.

  • Proficiency in reading and preparing M&E drawings.

  • Previous experience working with a main contractor.
