Roles & Responsibilities:
Design & Planning
- Create detailed and practical designs for mechanical building systems, ensuring that HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire safety solutions are robust and efficient.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and system specifications that are both innovative and compliant.
- Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and project teams to seamlessly integrate mechanical systems into holistic building designs.
Project Coordination
- Act as the key liaison with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure mechanical works align with overall project milestones.
- Proactively address and resolve design challenges, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet the highest standards.
Site Supervision & Installation
- Lead the on-site supervision of mechanical system installations, ensuring meticulous adherence to design specifications and safety guidelines.
- Conduct rigorous quality checks and inspections to ensure exceptional workmanship and operational reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma holders in the relevant field may apply).
- At least 3 years of technical knowledge and experience in Mechanical building services (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection systems).
- Experience in an engineering consultancy firm is a pre-requisite.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and interact confidently with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease.
