Key Accountabilities:
Conduct and validate detailed in-house site surveys, capturing critical data to inform engineering decisions and system integration requirements.
Critically review and approve technical deviations, ensuring all departures from established codes and standards (API, ISO, ASME, etc.) are fully justified and documented.
Provide technical guidance to ensure consistent implementation of best practices across projects and disciplines.
Ensure seamless integration of Rotating Equipment systems with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control disciplines.
Anticipate interface challenges and proactively resolve scope discrepancies and technical conflicts with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead technical discussions with vendors and contractors to resolve engineering issues, ensuring the delivery of optimized and reliable rotating equipment solutions.
Identify schedule risks and implement timely mitigation strategies to prevent technical or delivery delays.
Review and assess contract changes or variations, providing technically sound recommendations that safeguard project integrity and compliance.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Chartered Engineer/Professional Engineer Status or equivalent is preferred
10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to Oil and Gas industry
Ablility to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards and codes related to Rotating Equipment Engineering
Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a mulitple project environment
