Job Description
Design and specify mechanical systems for data centres and buildings, such as Air-Conditioning, Mechanical Ventilation and Fire Protection systemsPrepare relevant documents, design calculations and drawings for submissions to authoritiesAttend client-consultant, site and technical meetingsAssisting project management and construction supervisionReview contractors' technical submissions of equipment/materials/drawingsConduct site inspections of installationsWitness testing and commissioning of equipment/system or attending FAT (Factory Accept Test)Work with the clients' project team and fellow consultants to coordinate and detail project design requirementBe responsible for any duties that may be assigned from time to timeQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.Positive work attitude and willing to learnAble to work independently and as part of a teamEnjoy the process of developing design ideas into actual quality installation and validating through performance testsLikes hands-on site and testing & commissioning worksFamiliarity in Data Centre industry is preferred, but not a mustFresh graduate are welcomeTechnically inclined Mechanical Engineers, without relevant experience but keen to adapt and learn, will be consideredSuitable applicant with longer relevant experience and deeper technical knowledge will be considered for senior position
