Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to lead production line planning and process optimization at our SEA Remanufacturing Technology Center.
This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency, maximizing the reuse of components, and driving continuous improvement in quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize production lines and tooling systems to improve efficiency and throughput.
Develop and continuously refine operational procedures and work instructions; provide training to front-line staff.
Create and optimize Bills of Materials (BOM), focusing on remanufacturing strategies that increase the utilization of used parts and reduce costs.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to support cost analysis and product release planning.
Drive systematic cost reduction initiatives and improve the utilization rate of used components in remanufacturing.
Oversee process quality control and develop long-term strategies for quality assurance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the compressor industry, with deep knowledge of screw compressors, centrifuges, oil-free screw compressors, and vacuum pumps.
Proficient in CAD software (2D and 3D); strong design and model modification skills.
Hands‐on experience in production environments and process troubleshooting.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Based full‐time at our Singapore facility.
Occasional travel (approx.
5%) across China and Southeast Asia.
