Mechanical Integrity and Reliability Leader
Position focusing on leadership in Mechanical Integrity and Reliability within Quest Global, with an emphasis on Inspection/Corrosion Management for Oil & Gas upstream and downstream assets.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong technical leadership in Inspection/Corrosion Management for Oil & Gas upstream/downstream assets
- Provide technical solution in the area of upstream/downstream Asset Integrity
- Drive and manage Integrity Engineers to execute the workflows with Quality at scale
- Provide pre-sales support for new business deals and post-sales support for the new projects assigned
- Drive core team members to recruit skilled resources or train internal resources to achieve the targets
- Act as a bridge between customer, sales organization and global technical teams; flexible to make short trips as required by the business
- Lead, develop, nurture and manage global customer relationships and drive strategic partnering initiatives to address unique business situations and complex technology needs
- Review technical scoping, estimation, fitment and feasibility studies, mapping customer expectations and solution design, as prepared by Program Managers and Project Leaders
Qualifications & Competencies
- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Materials or Chemical)
- 15+ years of oil & gas experience in related industry (refining/petrochemical/LNG/oil&gas)
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas upstream and downstream business in areas such as Risk Based Inspection methodologies, Inspection Optimization, API Damage Mechanisms, and in-service inspection of fixed equipment
- Background: RBI Studies for Above Ground Storage Tanks; ability to interpret data, optimize inspection/test intervals, and manage asset integrity programs using API 653 calculations
- Experience with RBI study based on API 580 certification (required) and knowledge of API 653 for tank integrity
- Familiarity with codes and standards: ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC (Sections II, V, VIII, IX), API 510, 570, 571, 580, 653, and related API/ASME codes
- Proficiency in static equipment integrity assessment, retrofit/rerate/fitness-for-service assessments, and risk mitigation planning
- Software skills: PV-Elite, Sage Plus or Plant Manager, CAESAR II, Navisworks
Preferred Knowledge Areas
- Oil & Gas (Upstream/Downstream); static equipment and piping design/assessment
- Tank and equipment integrity, corrosion engineering, and RBI optimization
Academic Qualification: Mechanical Engineering Degree
