Job description

Overview

The doctor will be part of a team assisting in managing patients, with duties including conducting daily ward rounds, as well as supervision and teaching of House Officers.

He/She will assist in running clinics, as well as assist in carrying out procedures and operations as permitted by the senior doctors.

He/She will also be required to perform night duties as decided by the Head of Department, and according to the operational requirements of the Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily ward rounds.

  • Supervise and teach House Officers.

  • Assist in running clinics.

  • Assist in carrying out procedures and operations as permitted by senior doctors.

  • Perform night duties as decided by the Head of Department and in line with hospital operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • In active clinical practice.

  • Basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school.

  • At least 6 years of post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent).
