Job Summary The Counsellor (Youth Team) role involves delivering direct care services to clients with mental health issues.
This includes assessment, casework management, counselling and psychoeducation.
Main Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments using psycho-social and psychological measurement tools.
- Manage clients with psychological and mental health conditions.
- Prepare and document assessment reports.
- Identify gaps in assessment tools and propose contextualisation.
- Deliver case presentations within psychological services.
- Perform case formulation and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with treatment teams and allied health workers.
- Develop and deliver psychoeducation programmes.
Requirements: - Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling or Psychology.
- At least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
