ABOUT THE JOB
- Configuration
- Configure system components including workstation assignments, printers, weighing scales, and access rights.
- Maintain and update specification documents to reflect configuration changes and system enhancements.
- Integration & Collaboration
- Support Plug & Produce (P&P) investigations and design to enable seamless integration between MES and Historian.
- Act as a liaison between Digital, Automation, MES, SAP, and Global Teams to coordinate issue resolution and system improvements.
- Technical Documentation & Testing
- Review and approve technical specifications for MES-related developments.
- Prepare and execute test cases, ensuring validation of system changes, upgrades, and new functionalities.
- Database & Query Optimization
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to support MES data operations and reporting.
- System Upgrades & Release Management
- Plan and coordinate MES system upgrades, including rollout of new releases while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- System Operations & Troubleshooting (supporting responsibilities)
- Collaborate with the global support team to troubleshoot MES, application services, databases, and connected devices.
- Monitor application performance and availability to ensure smooth operations.
- Support user access management in line with standard processes and policies.
ABOUT YOU
- Proficient in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven expertise in deploying, configuring, and supporting MES.
- Experience in GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environments with a deep understanding of industry standards and validation requirements.
- Hands-on experience integrating MES with systems such as:
- DCS systems (e.g., Emerson DeltaV)
- SAP ERP
- Data Historian
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Databases: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
- IT processes: Incident management, change management, service request handling
- Application architecture and system design principles
