Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, innovative, quick learner with
excellent interpersonal skills to work in National Metrology Centre.
The successful candidate will provide technical support and leadership in:
Maintenance and quality assurance of national measurement standards in length and dimensional areas.Establishment of international equivalence of length and dimensional measurement capabilities through participation in measurement comparisons.Achieving international recognition for calibration and measurement capabilities in length and dimensional areas through peer-reviews by external experts; and undertaking peer-reviews of other national metrology institutes as a domain expert.Dissemination of the national length and dimensional standards and measurement technologies to the industry through calibration and measurement services and R&D in metrology.Developing new measurement solutions and building new metrology capabilities and services based on emerging needs of the industry; and developing programmes to enhance technical competencies of lab personnel.Other Requirements

Strong background in science, engineering, or related disciplines.Experience in semiconductors, precision engineering, electronics, or length and dimensional metrology.Knowledge of instrumentation and statistical analysis.Knowledge and experience in the field of optics and laser technology, nanotechnology, and length and dimensional metrology (e.g., coordinate measurement, surface metrology, etc.), as well as in semiconductor and precision engineering, will be an advantage.Proficiency in automation and digital tools, with experience in technical and project management considered a plus.Strong team spirit and problem-solving abilities.Good verbal and written communication skills.
