About The Job
Sanofi Manufacturing and Supply organization is preparing for its future through the Modulus project, which aims to create innovative, modular, and flexible multi-product manufacturing facilities leveraging new technologies to address challenges in vaccine and biologics production.
Manage periodic qualification (calibrations) of instruments for facilities, utilities, and process equipment.
Oversee maintenance of site electrical systems, including high & low voltage distribution, lighting, power, earthing, lightning, and ELV systems.
Serve as system owner for paperless calibration; manage setup of instrument calibration systems.
Troubleshoot instruments and communication interface issues with automation systems.
Devise device tolerances and calibration frequencies based on process requirements.
Act as SME during inspections and audits for calibration and metrology programs.
Develop, review, and revise SOPs to ensure compliance of instruments and systems.
Ensure training for instrumentation technicians meets requirements.
Manage instrumentation and electrical spares inventory.
Main Responsibilities
Provide SME support for electrical & instrumentation scope on Tier3 projects (≤€5mil).
Represent the business in engineering reviews for electrical systems.
Review specifications and ensure user requirements are met.
Support project execution, testing, commissioning, and validation for E&I scope.
Review construction drawings such as instrument loop diagrams based on project specs.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Controls or Electrical Engineering with 5-8 years of E&I management experience.
Experience in biopharmaceuticals or API industries.
Knowledge of commissioning smart sensors and communication protocols like Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, HART, Profibus.
Experience managing electrical systems maintenance and interpreting electrical/control diagrams.
Strong technical writing skills, including SOP drafting.
Deviations management and OT-IT knowledge are advantageous.
Hands-on experience in biopharmaceutical/ API engineering services.
Understanding of CGMPs and regulatory market requirements, including participation in audits (FDA, EMA, HSA).
Project procurement experience, including vendor management, RFQ, tender review, and bid analysis.
Leadership skills to manage vendors, contractors, and external resources.
