About the Traineeship
Are you a recent graduate eager to launch your career in the financial industry?

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our Graduate Industry Traineeship program.

This program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the banking sector, with opportunities in our Model Risk Team.


This is a 6 months traineeship program offered in partnership with Workforce Singapore's (WSG) Graduate Industry Traineeships (GRIT) program.

As a trainee, you will be immersed in real-world projects, mentored by experienced professionals, and gain invaluable industry insights.


What You'll Do
Support the end-to-end Model Lifecycle for new and existing models.


Assist in the validation of various risk models, including scorecards, IRB/ECL/AML models, etc.


Learn to perform risk assessments on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) models and GenAI models, including FEAT assessments in line with MAS guidelines.


Help ensure the effective integration of Model Risk controls throughout the model lifecycle.


Contribute to keeping the Model Risk framework, policy, and standards updated and compliant with regulatory requirements.


Provide support in advising stakeholders on Model Risk governance best practices.


Participate in the implementation of model governance process automation, process synchronization, and data standardization across regional teams.


Support initiatives to champion model risk culture and promote model risk awareness, such as through training.


Assist in reporting model risk findings to senior management.


Collaborate effectively with quantitative analysts within the Bank and with external consultants.


Assist in designing, developing, and deploying Generative AI workflows and applications for risk management.


Who We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field.


Internship experience in Modeling OR Model Validation is preferred, but not strictly required.


Strong foundational skills in SQL and Python.


A keen interest in understanding model risk governance and regulatory requirements.


Good analytical and problem-solving skills.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
