Module Associate Engineer - PVD role at VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC).
Role Summary
You will be responsible and focused on improving tool performance and availability, in charge of maintenance, diagnosing failures and implementing effective solutions to meet uptime and cycle time requirements in the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) module.
Key Responsibilities
Handle on-duty tasks and conduct fundamental alarm troubleshooting; identify root cause and problem-solve critical equipment issues with urgency.
Execute tool handovers and maintenance reporting per cleanroom standards.
Use PVD tools for metal layer deposition, collaborate with engineering teams to improve tool performance and availability.
Manage spare part inventory and coordinate with vendors or contractors for parts replacement and technical support.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced 300mm semiconductor tools for PVD process.
Operate under rotating shifts (day/night), including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 fab environment.
Education Qualification & Essential Experiences
Diploma’s or higher degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or STEM related fields
Experience in a 12’’ (300mm) fab environment is highly preferred.
