Job Description
As a Process & Equipment Engineer you will be primarily responsible for evaluating and improving manufacturing processes to improve product quality and reliability, machine utilization/alarm reduction, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems.

You will also be required to identify, diagnose and resolve equipment & assembly process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC/FDC methodology.


Responsibilities
Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problems
Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step
Lead / participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities
Validate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introduction
Train and guide technicians
Manage SPC/FDC
Manage spares
Manage / audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives
Support internal and external audits
Requirements
Bachelors in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Experience in or knowledge on semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies
Showcase leadership experience/ potential
Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
Experience in mechanical tooling is preferred
Knowledge in AI/scripting will be added bonus
Keen in semiconductor industry
Defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.

Involvement may begin at any step from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing.

Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods.

Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.

May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.
