Naval Architect - Structural & Scantling Design Analysis (Marine)
Responsibilities
Conduct finite element analysis (ANSYS) and vibration studies of vessel structures.
Perform global analysis of ship structures and evaluate hydrodynamic loading.
Refine models and provide optimization suggestions for weight savings.
Design and model structural components, including concepts for ship and deck structures.
Develop ship and deck structure drawings and perform calculations.
Use 3D modeling tools such as Aveva Marine for structural design.
Requirements
Minimum degree in Naval Architecture, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
Experience in finite element analysis (FEA) and vibration studies, including modeling and simulation.
Strong knowledge of international design codes, classification and statutory rules and regulations.
Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling; experience with Aveva Marine is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Location: 16 Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
5 days work week
Working hours: 7:25am to 5:00pm
