Key Responsibilities
Ensure the
highest level of system and service availability , making sure that infrastructure, applications, and products are properly configured, monitored, and maintained.
Provide
L2/L3 Service Operations support
to internal and external customers according to agreed SLAs.
Act as the
single point of contact (SPOC)
for customers when required, coordinating interventions with internal teams, service desk, and resolver groups.
Handle
incident and problem management , ensuring quick resolution of issues, timely escalation, and detailed root cause analysis.
Manage
equipment replacement and spares availability , ensuring timely replenishment and continuity of service.
Perform
proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance
to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Support
Change Management, Configuration, and Implementation
of supported systems and products.
Collaborate with
vendors, service providers, and application consultants
to deliver high-quality IT services.
Support
infrastructure projects and system enhancements , ensuring documentation, testing, and smooth deployment.
Participate in
on-call standby duties and rotating 24x7 shifts
when required.
Contribute to
continuous service improvement , documenting lessons learned, known errors, and operational best practices.
Requirements
Education : Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
ITIL Foundation (required)
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT operations, systems, or application support.
Hands-on experience in
Windows/Linux/Unix environments , basic troubleshooting, and patching.
Exposure to
networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewall configuration) .
Ability to configure and support
Cisco routers/switches
and perform network troubleshooting (ping, traceroute, etc.).
Experience working in
SLA-driven environments
with direct customer interaction.
Experience in the
airport/airline industry
or ACM domain will be a strong plus.
Technical Knowledge
Installation and support of desktop PCs, servers, IP phones, printers, switches, routers, cabling.
Installation and configuration of end-user applications and OS (Windows/Linux/Unix).
Familiarity with monitoring tools and service management processes.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work under pressure, in rotating shifts, and as part of a team.
Problem-solving mindset with ownership until resolution.
