Responsibilities
Provide yield analysis for next-generation Micron products within the NAND Technology Integration (NTI) Singapore department.
Become a domain expert on physical failure analysis methods for electrical failures.
Identify and communicate yield issues; assist with root cause analysis for process deviations.
Characterize, probe, parametric, and fabrication data to identify sources of failures.
Perform failure analysis including electrical characterization and electrical verification to confirm failures; apply PFA techniques for de-processing failures.
Drive failure analysis initiatives for the yield enhancement team; create and deliver new methodologies, capabilities, and innovative approaches for failure analysis and de-processing.
Participate in global meetings and present results to Product Development and Process Integrations teams.
Collaborate with metrology and RDA teams to redefine and validate inline detection capability.
Assist and support transfer of layout/architecture fundamentals of new technology from R&D to manufacturing fab.
Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements.
Qualifications
Experience in the semiconductor industry in the areas of Process Integration, Yield Enhancement, Failure Analysis, Data Science, or Unit Process.
In-depth knowledge and direct experience with nonvolatile memories.
Good understanding of the process flow and interaction of process and device.
Knowledge of scanning electron microscopes (SEM), focused ion beam (FIB), Transmission electron microscopes (TEM), and Elemental Analysis (EDS, EELS).
Fluency in Python, JavaScript, C or C++; experience with Windows, Linux, and JMP statistic software desirable.
Ability to be self-motivated and self-governing with the ability to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Strong analysis, communication and reporting abilities with demonstrated presentation skills.
Education
B.S., M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering with 5+ years experience in failure analysis or 10+ years experience as Failure analysis engineer.
