What you'll be doing
Lead and inspire nursing teams to promote a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and ongoing development.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff development to uphold high standards of care and professionalism.
Set performance expectations, provide continuous coaching and feedback, and support staff in their professional growth.
Work closely with doctors, allied health professionals, and department heads to establish and implement clinical protocols grounded in best practices.
Ensure nursing practices comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, prioritizing patient safety and care quality.
Track clinical outcomes and satisfaction indicators, implementing improvements where necessary.
Develop efficient staffing models and nursing workflows to support high-quality care while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of supplies, equipment, and medications.
Monitor departmental budgets, seeking ways to optimize resources and reduce costs where possible.
Champion quality improvement projects to enhance clinical effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
Conduct audits and evaluations, and implement evidence-based changes to improve care delivery.
Involve nursing staff in continuous improvement efforts and encourage a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Design and deliver onboarding, training, and ongoing education programs that ensure staff competence and regulatory compliance.
Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to promote individual and team development.
Support multidisciplinary collaboration for seamless care coordination.
Take a lead role in establishing nursing services for the new hospital, including workforce planning, process design, and policy development.
Collaborate with facility planners, architects, and designers to ensure that nursing infrastructure supports optimal clinical workflows and patient-centered care.
Implement systems for inventory control, equipment procurement, and infection prevention from the start.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a Singapore Nursing Board-approved institution, along with post-basic qualifications in a relevant specialty.
Registered Nurse in Singapore with at least 10 years of clinical experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Prior experience in nursing administration, preferably involving hospital startups or expansions.
Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement practices.
