Job Description:
- Conduct initial evaluations to determine care needs for elderly admissions
- Implement regular care plan reviews with appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Develop and facilitate group therapy programs tailored for elderly participants
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings for integrated care planning
- Plan and execute group therapy programme and activities for elderly
- Develop occupational therapy interventions for clients with Dementia, Psychiatric illness, Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions
- Evaluate and optimize therapy schedules with complete documentation
- Have knowledge of dementia issues and able to manage elderly who display behavioral problems
- Establish supportive relationships with their families and caregivers
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Full registration with APHC
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a hospital or eldercare institution
