The Subsea Project Manager ensures thesafe, efficient, and compliantexecution of underwater construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) projects.
The role adheres toQHSE policies,ISO 9001 (Quality), OHSAS 18001 (Safety), and ISO 14001 (Environmental)standards while delivering subsea serviceson time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
A.
Project Execution & Operations
Plan and overseeROV operations, diving projects, pipeline inspections, and subsea installations.
Managemobilization/demobilizationof vessels, equipment, and personnel.
Verifyproject budgets, schedules, and work scopeswith the Subsea Operations Manager.
Ensure timely delivery ofsurvey reports, as-built documentation, and client deliverables.
Superviseoffshore operations, ensuring compliance with marine and subsea safety protocols.
Overseedata acquisition(sonar, bathymetry, CP surveys) and validate integrity reports.
B.
Contract & Client Management
ManageMarine & Subsea Services agreements, includingQHSE, KPIs, invoicing, and payments.
Ensureclient satisfactionby meeting contractual obligations while protecting company interests.
ReviewVariation Orders (VOs)and change requests for subsea scope adjustments.
Verifyinvoices and work certificationsfor accurate and prompt billing.

QHSE & Compliance
Enforcediving/ROV safety procedures, emergency plans, and risk assessments.
Reportincidents, near-misses, and non-conformancesto the QHSE department.
Ensure compliance withIMCA guidelinesand client-specific HSE requirements.
Promotesafety cultureand environmental responsibility in the workplace.
D.
Technical & Reporting
Reviewsubsea inspection reports(corrosion, pipeline integrity, cathodic protection).
Approverepair methodologiesfor subsea infrastructure (pipelines, umbilicals, manifolds).
Finalizeproject close-out documentation, including as-built drawings and client handover.
Additional Duties
Leadpre-mobilization meetingswith subcontractors, vessel crews, and clients.
Evaluate and managethird-party subcontractors(ROV/diving teams, survey providers).
Ensureprompt invoices and debt collectionfor financial efficiency.
Support companyQHSE objectivesand regulatory compliance.
Any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree / Diploma in engineering/maritime/business field or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in offshore marine industry
Subsea experience is a plus
Management Skills:Offshore team leadership, subcontractor coordination, client relations.
Financial Acumen:Budget control, invoicing, contract management
