Key Responsibilities:
- Trade physical and/or paper oil products (e.g., gasoline, diesel, jet fuel) in international markets.
- Analyze global supply-demand fundamentals, pricing trends, geopolitical developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting the oil markets.
- Execute trades and manage positions within defined risk parameters and compliance guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, brokers, and shipping partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of delivery in collaboration with legal and logistics teams.
- Monitor and manage logistical operations, including freight, storage, blending, and inventory.
- Collaborate with internal teams (risk, finance, operations) to ensure accurate reporting and settlement.
- Proactively identify market opportunities and develop trading strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated with relevant market data, publications, news, and analytics tools (e.g., Platts, Argus, Bloomberg).
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 5-8 years of experience trading refined petroleum products, preferably with an oil major or NOC.
- Strong understanding of global oil markets, trading instruments (futures, options, swaps), and risk management.
- Proven track record of profitable trading performance.
