Overview
The Biomedical Data Hub (BDH) curates and maintains strategic deidentified health data cohorts and supports researchers with expertise in bioinformatics and A.I. Its mission is to unlock the value of digital health data to support science and solutions benefiting Singapore and its citizens.
BDH is a national initiative created by Singapore's Bioinformatics Institute, hosted by A*STAR, in partnership with MOH Singapore, and funded by NRF.
Responsibilities
On-board datasets into the Biomedical Data Hub, including data clean-up, curation, transformation, and ensuring adherence to information standards.
Resolve non-technical challenges in data onboarding through stakeholder management.
Prepare data assets for analysis by researchers and innovators.
Implement OHDSI OMOP framework on datasets.
Develop data management strategies for the Common Data Model, vocabulary/ontology, mapping tools, and documentation.
Conduct quality control audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Perform advanced analytics for population-level analyses and visualizations using tools like ATLAS and Strategus.
Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Public Health, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, AI, or related fields.
Proficiency in Python and R, with database knowledge (PostgreSQL).
Experience with OHDSI OMOP framework and regulatory data submissions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborative research.
