Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in the setup and teardown of event sites, including placement of equipment, furniture, and materials according to floor plans or layout drawings.
- Support on-site operations to ensure smooth event execution and help resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with logistics planning such as movement of materials, delivery coordination, and transportation arrangements.
- Help prepare event floor plans, sketches, and layout plans (using tools such as SketchUp or similar software, if applicable).
- Work closely with the Operations Executive/Manager to ensure all event requirements are met on schedule.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations and coordinate delivery of goods and services.
- Support the application and submission of relevant licences and permits (e.g. SFA, SPF, COMPASS) under guidance from the Operations Executive.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and venue regulations during setup, event hours, and teardown.
- Provide assistance for technical setup such as audio, video, lighting, or electrical needs as directed by the technical team.
Requirements:
- Preferably 2-4 year of experience in events, exhibitions, logistics, or related fields (internship or part-time experience accepted).
- Good attitude, initiative, and willingness to perform hands-on operational work.
- Basic proficiency in layout planning or 3D tools (e.g. SketchUp) is an advantage.
- Familiar with basic licensing or permit submission processes.
- Internet-savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required (event-based schedule).
- Team player who can adapt to fast-paced event environments.
