We are looking for you,

Operations Event Coordinator

to our Operations Event Team in our Refinery in Tuas.

You will focusing on planning & preparing our Refinery for a Safe Turnaround.

In this job you will work closely not only with the different stakeholders within Neste but also together with our external partners.

You must be a highly self-motivated individual, able to embrace changes, process a strong ability to work independently and live the values of Neste.

Your role in our team / in creating a sustainable future

● Responsible to plan, prepare and execution of events related to Operations including operations resource planning for designated unit(s).

Events are defined as:

• Turn-arounds (TA)
• Unit shut-downs (SD)
• (Pre)Commissioning and initial start-up of capital investment projects

● Back-up Event team member in Turn-arounds and Unit Shut-downs

● Responsible and monitoring TA/SD execution and instruct shift teams accordingly and reporting progress

● Liaison of Operations to 3rd parties/suppliers related to operations support for preparing and execution of Turn-arounds and Shut-downs assigned by Operations Event Lead

● Responsible (within Operations) for optimizing the Shut-down, Start-up and Clearing work instructions for designated area

● Responsible for correcting, reviewing and improving assigned Operations NMS Work Procedures

● Responsible for review of Shift Team Operations Shut Down Instruction to ensure all the scope are covered in the instructions

● Responsible to communicate and train shift teams related to events

● Work closely with all Internal & External stakeholders.

Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this role

Diploma in Chemical Engineering or similar

Minimum Polytechnic Diploma with 3 years of supervisory experience OR Higher NITEC with 5 years of supervisory experience OR GCE ‘O’ level with 8 years of supervisory experience in a Petrochemical /Refinery Environment
