About the Client…
Our client, a leading alternative investment firm, is looking for an Operations Executive to support post-trade activities across equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and derivatives.
This role is key to ensuring smooth settlement processes and maintaining operational accuracy in a fast-moving investment environment.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in coordinating with custodians, brokers, and internal teams to manage trade lifecycle events, resolve settlement issues, and uphold data integrity across systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational experience in trade support who is looking to grow in a collaborative, performance-driven setting.
This is a 6 months contract role with conversion potential.
About the Responsibilities…
- Oversee end-to-end settlement process for equities, fixed income, foreign exchange and derivatives.
- Collaborate with custodians, prime brokers, counterparties and front office teams to resolve trade discrepancies.
- Respond to operational queries from fund administrators.
- Manage margin and collateral movements as required.
- Handle corporate actions and asset servicing tasks, including proxy voting.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Work closely with the finance team to validate accounting data and ensure accurate fund records.
- Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc operational projects.
About the Requirements…
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of settlement experience in alternative investments funds, with a focus on public credit and equity.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
