Primary Responsibility
The Operations Lead / Executive plays a vital role in supporting and leading the operational excellence of the store.
This role ensures smooth execution of all stock, inventory, and back-of-house processes while maintaining visual and operational standards that reflect the Alo brand.
The position works closely with the Operations & Visual Merchandising Manager to achieve business goals, optimize workflow efficiency, and uphold the highest store standards.
Areas of Responsibility
1.
Operations & Inventory Management
- Oversee and execute inventory processes including receiving, processing, replenishment, stock transfers, and reverse logistics.
- Maintain stock accuracy and minimize shrink through proper documentation, stock counts, and audits.
- Investigate discrepancies and escalate process or system gaps to management.
- Ensure the stockroom is organized, safe, and compliant with company standards.
- Maintain adequate supply levels (e.g., packaging, cleaning materials, and visual tools).

Visual Merchandising & Store Support
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to execute floor set changes, new product launches, and promotional displays.
- Support visual standards and sales floor recovery throughout the day.
- Ensure stock is efficiently replenished to maintain an optimal shopping experience.
- Assist in coordination for retail activations, events, or new color/product launches.
3.
Cashiering & Operational Excellence
- Support cashiering responsibilities including daily cash floats, reconciliation, and safeguarding assets.
- Ensure all operational tools, systems, and equipment function properly; escalate technical issues promptly.
- Perform sales reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and implement preventive measures to mitigate financial losses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to protect store assets and ensure compliance.

Business & Reporting
- Partner with the Operations Manager on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, and vendor management.
- Assist with regular operational reports, audits, and documentation submissions.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve efficiency and support business decisions.
- Move dynamically on the sales floor to assess business needs and support both team and guests.
5.
People Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead by example in daily operations and guest experience.
- Coach and guide team members to ensure operational standards are consistently met.
- Foster teamwork across Sales & Service and Visual teams for seamless daily execution.
- Provide feedback to management to drive continuous improvement and individual growth.
- Support cross-functional projects and company-level initiatives as assigned.
6.
Safety & Maintenance
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with brand and local standards.
- Ensure all store equipment and facilities are in good condition and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management to support store operations and overall business needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a client-focused, sales-driven environment, with demonstrated leadership abilities preferred.
- Proven ability to coach and develop team members, fostering individual and team growth.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- High energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to integrate fun into the workplace.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of excelling both individually and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
