Job Summary
The Operations Liaison Assistant supports the daily operations, customer service, and technical systems of the golf driving range.
This role ensures smooth communication between management, customers, and vendors while overseeing operational efficiency, safety, and the upkeep of electronic equipment used in range operations (e.g., ball dispensing systems, tracking technology, lighting, and automated payment kiosks).
The role requires both operational coordination and technical knowledge, who can support the integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic systems within the facility.
Job Description
- Assist in coordinating daily operations of the golf driving range, including scheduling, customer service, and facility support.
- Act as a liaison between management, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and support the use of electronic systems, including ball dispensing machines, tracking and scoring systems, lighting, and payment kiosks.
- Conduct routine checks, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance of electronic and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Assist in procurement, vendor management, and operational reporting to management.
- Support implementation of safety standards and operational policies across the facility.
- Collect and analyze operational data (usage rates, equipment downtime, customer feedback) to recommend improvements.
- Provide on-ground assistance during events, tournaments, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with technical vendors and service providers for system upgrades, repairs, and calibration of electronic equipment.
Train frontline staff on basic operation of electronic systems and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sport & Exercise Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in operations support, facility management, or technical maintenance (experience in sports, leisure, or hospitality industry preferred).
- Knowledge of electronic systems, automation, or technical troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise between management, customers, and technical vendors.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by facility operations.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to service delivery.
