Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations and monitoring the progress of M&E works based on the project schedule.
- Collaborate with the M&E Coordinator to ensure site work is supervised effectively
- Monitor and control the progress of M&E works based on the schedule, identifying areas for improvement
- To resolve site-related matters pertaining to M&E services in a timely manner
- Conduct quality checks on materials and workmanship
- Coordinate with consultants for site inspections as required
- Prepare and submit necessary materials and shop drawings to consultants for approval
- Verify that materials are delivered to site
- To manage subcontractor works and monitor progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Liaise with relevant authorities for the commissioning of work
Requirements
- A diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications, is mandatory
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in building projects
- Possess excellent communication skills and leadership qualities to supervise workers effectively
- CORE-TRADE Supervisor certification would be advantageous
