The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of production processes, driving efficiency and productivity while meeting customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize production yield by streamlining costs, minimizing reworks and rejects
- Effectively manage raw material usage and inventory levels
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize manpower planning and staff deployment
- Train operators to enhance workflow efficiency and adherence to established processes
- Delegate tasks and assign duties to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production planning and forecasting
- Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Excellent leadership, coaching and team management skills
- Able to converse in Word, Excel and possess basic computer literacy
