About the role
- Lead and drive OCI discussions and contribute core capabilities to opportunities.
- Lead pre-sales activities and drive closure of deals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to market events and engage clients.
Design and Implementation
- Develop and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Ensure the architecture aligns with business goals and is scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
Optimization and Management
- Optimize cloud services for performance, cost, and security.
- Implement and manage data processing pipelines and storage solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Consultation and Support
- Provide technical consulting to stakeholders and advise on OCI solutions and best practices.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and documentation for users and clients.
- Offer technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve service disruptions.
Collaboration and Innovation
- Work closely with development, operations, and data teams to enhance cloud operations.
- Evaluate and recommend new OCI services and technologies to drive innovation.
About you
Technical Proficiency
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and its services.
- Knowledge of OCI among other cloud providers and ability to articulate value differentiators.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud strategy with OCI and integration with other hyperscalers.
- Experience with cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
- Proficiency in programming, scripting, and data engineering techniques.
Problem-Solving and Communication
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and consultation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Certifications and Experience
- Relevant certifications in OCI and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in cloud engineering, architecture, and operations.
