Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain overall readiness of the department, including keeping workstations clean and well-organized, and ensuring adequate stationery supplies.
Support the smooth flow of patient journeys by:
Registering patients and updating next-of-kin (NOK) information.
Handling patient enquiries professionally.
Assisting with the admission process, including financial counselling and tracking bed requests.
Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Tasks include updating the system, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring data privacy and safety.
Deliver value-added services that enhance operational efficiency and contribute to a positive experience for both patients and staff.
Ensure timely and accurate registration of patients, while encouraging the use of self-service kiosks.
Provide administrative support for day-to-day operations and departmental events.
Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Offer chaperone support to medical staff during consultations and prepare relevant documentation when needed.
Requirements:
Minimum GCE “O” Level or equivalent qualification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with multiple systems (e.g., SAP experience is a plus).
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak an additional language is advantageous.
Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working in a hospital environment and rotating across different clinics when required.
Experience in hospitality or service-related industries is a plus.
Work Schedule: 5-day work week (Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays), on 2 to 3 rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and midnight).
Contract Duration: 2 years, with the possibility of extension or permanent conversion based on performance.
