YOUR ROLE
- Support the monthly payroll processing
- Responsible for maintaining HR Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data, smooth system functionality and effective reporting.
- This role involves supporting HR processes through system optimization, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring data integrity and compliance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Payroll
- Manage mid to complex monthly payroll processing across different shift patterns including overtime pay, festive advance pay, ad-hoc payroll and allowances
- Ensure timely submission of tax clearance for non-local leavers.
- Prepare various quarterly accrual and provision reports for Finance reporting.
- Assist in preparation for journal posting to Finance system.
- Assist to prepare pre-payroll activities (e.g month end data for payroll checking, leave and attendance checking).
- Manage stakeholders enquiries relating to payroll costs, reports and grants computation.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate manager.
HRIS and Data Administration
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Process employee hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes in the system
- Ensure HRIS data aligns with payroll
- Provide technical support to HR teams and employees on HRIS-related issues
- Assist in HRIS upgrades, testing and new feature implementations
- Generate and analyze HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism
- Develop dashboards and metrics for HR and management decision making
- Ensure reports comply with labour laws and company policies
- Ensure data privacy and system security in line with company policies and regulations
- Support HR audits and compliance reporting related to employee records
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Tertiary education in business administration, Human Resources or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing for both white-collar and blue-collar employees and HRIS, HR operations or HR analytics
- Familiar with vendor payroll system (Humatrix, BIPO) will be an advantage
- Familiar with HRIS platforms i.e. SuccessFactor will be advantageous
- Understanding of HR processes, payroll systems and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
Highly competent in Microsoft Excel
Possesses strong teamwork, problem-solving, and execution skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work with all levels of employees
