Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Pega Application Developer to join our team.
The role involves providing Level 2 (L2) support, troubleshooting incidents, implementing enhancements, and managing application testing and deployment.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and support teams to ensure stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of Pega applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve L2 production incidents in a timely manner, minimizing business impact.
- Application Enhancements: Design, build, and implement enhancements and change requests in the Pega platform.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test cases to ensure quality and stability of changes.
- Deployment: Package and deploy Pega applications and hotfixes across environments following release processes.
- Collaboration: Work with L1 support, business users, and business architects to identify and resolve issues.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Conduct system health checks, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with security and audit standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in Pega development and support.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, database queries, and application logs.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Core Skills (Mandatory):
- Familiarity with Pega PRPC platform (rules, flows, data objects).
- Knowledge of Java, HTML, CSS, or SQL.
- Understanding of interface integration methods (API, SFTP, MQ).
