Key Responsibilities:
- Independently assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy, implementing appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide updates and reports to referring doctors and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of physiotherapy records and ensure correct patient billing.
- Adhere to clinical, professional, and service standards, practising within scope of competence and seeking guidance when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and participate actively in case conferences.
- Support departmental and institutional goals by assisting or co-leading projects, initiatives, and activities.
- Manage and oversee therapy equipment inventory to ensure availability and compliance.
- Contribute to in-service training, patient education programmes, and external workshops, seminars, or forums.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and review of clinical protocols, guidelines, and SOPs, including initiatives related to hospital-at-home care at NUHS.
- Assist in promoting, marketing, and developing clinical services.
- Support onboarding of new physiotherapists and supervise students on clinical attachments.
- Commit to continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- Fully registered with AHPC.
- Possess a recognized Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant physiotherapy experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Service-oriented with a strong customer focus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about transforming traditional healthcare models through innovative approaches to care delivery.
