Placemaking & Tenancy (Marketing and Outreach), Enabling Village (2 Year Contract) – Manager
Enabling Village is Singapore’s first fully inclusive community space dedicated to integrating persons with disabilities into society.
We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and connectedness for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers.
We are launching a new extension under the Enabling Village Masterplan and seek a creative, motivated, and driven individual to join us as
Manager (Enabling Village) .
This role focuses on cultivating relationships with Enabling Village tenants to achieve meaningful outcomes and driving key marketing and outreach initiatives with the public.
Responsibilities
Cultivate Meaningful Relationships:
Build and nurture strong connections with the Enabling Village tenant community, external programming partners, community groups, and vendors.
Collaborate to conceptualize, design, and implement inclusive programmes that empower and uplift persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
Marketing, Communications and Outreach:
Provide strategic guidance and advisory to Enabling Village’s appointed marketing communications agency and relevant stakeholders to drive awareness of, and participation in, Enabling Village’s programmes, events, and tenant initiatives through strategic marketing channels.
Support Placemaking and Tenancy Efforts:
Contribute to placemaking initiatives that enhance the Enabling Village experience, including infrastructure, wayfinding, community engagement, and tenancy matters.
This includes managing contracts, performance reporting, and on-the-job learning on tenancy and facilities management.
Administrative:
Provide necessary administrative support for the department, including scheduling, coordination, and general assistance to ensure smooth operations of all ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Degree or diploma holder in any discipline
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in marketing and communications, partnership development, community outreach/engagement, contract management, and project management is required.
Placemaking and tenancy-related expertise is preferred but not essential.
A passionate and innovative individual who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholders.
Creative problem-solving and programme development experience, particularly in inclusive, community-focused initiatives.
A commitment to inclusion and social impact, with a genuine interest in empowering persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
Able to work on some weekends occasionally to support events and programmes (with off-in-lieu days).
