Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring projects to ensure projects/releases adhere to SDLC and applicable organizational rules and policies.
Render strong support to Program Managers and Project Managers to enforce governance and track program/project financials and collaboration across all teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance: Track the delivery of the Program/Project in compliance with pre-established plans, deadlines, deliverables, budget and resources throughout the project process
Monitor project to ensure projects/releases adhere to SDLC and relevant rules/policies pertaining to project delivery
Provide executive-level reporting on project statuses, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders and leadership
Budget Mgmt: Develop template for program/project budget tracking and reporting
Maintain up-to-date record of investment and expense utilization
Periodically review project budget spending and variances between plan and actual
Work closely with project managers to track and review progress of plan acquisition and payment milestones
Resource Mgmt: Work with Program/Project Managers to perform resource planning and acquisition
Support for resource/vendor onboarding/offboarding
Centralize and maintain Resource Allocation recording for optimization across programs and projects
Process & Tools: Devise and refine process, procedures and templates in project delivery to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Train and guide project managers/members on project mgmt processes and tools
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to streamline processes and enhance project delivery capabilities
Requirements
Degree in IT or Banking/Computer Science related discipline and PMP certification
Minimum 8-10 years' experience in project management and PMO execution for large scale projects implementing financial solutions
Strong experience in program management, planning and project implementation
Good knowledge in financial management to ensure project financials are correctly captured
Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Power BI
Strong organizational and analytical skills, meticulous with details
Excellent written, presentation and communication skills
Able to multi-task and perform well under pressure
