Overview
We are seeking an experienced PMO (Core Banking) to join our dynamic team.
This role will play a critical role in supporting the pre-study phase of a core banking transformation initiative.
This includes driving project governance, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment between business and technology stakeholders.
The PMO will help establish the foundation for successful execution of the full transformation program.
Responsibilities
Support planning and execution of pre-study activities across multiple workstreams
Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, and milestone trackers
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and steering committees
Track and report progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
Ensure documentation of scope, requirements, and decisions
Coordinate with business analysts, architects, and vendor teams
Assist in resource planning and budget forecasting
Maintain alignment with regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements
Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations
Support change management and communication efforts
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field
Korean-speaking candidates preferred
5+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles
Experience in banking or financial services, preferably in core banking projects
Familiarity with pre-study or feasibility phases of large-scale transformations
Strong understanding of project governance frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Proficiency in tools like MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a client-facing role, with a proven track record of managing client relationships
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-country environment
Experience with vendor coordination and SOW management
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience, or combination
